The Day I Stared the Lawn Mower

Okay, so I actually started it last Saturday, but it was a momentous occassion. I had never been able to start it before, and I used to get sooo friggin frustrated. I wanted to mow our 6 inch grass for Jack on Saturday since he had a lot of homework to do. I didn't think about how useless I was with the mowing machine. 6 inch grass is hard to cut, and the mower would give up from time to time. Jack finally taught me a nifty trick: Tilt the lawn mower back a little while you pull the string (this is after priming the damn thing-- so that's not the issue). Tilting it is what gave me my leverage. I pulled the string with moderate force-- I heard the motor roar to life-- then die again further up the row. "Dammit!" I shout. Frustratingly tilting the mower back again, I use little force on the string and it comes alive once again. I am set. "Jack, you may go now"
