New Stuff

Well, I went through this blog and deleted all the posts from last year to make room for 2006. Hooray. I didn't just delete them, though. I put them in Word, so they still exist.

It's a new year and we're already in February. I was just saying the other day, "Boy, I haven't gotten sick yet this season, yay!" Then somehow my healthy exclamation fell upon viral ears and the bug made a beeline to my clean body. In other words... I'm sick now. I have some sort of sinus thingy and I'm all groggy (see What's Up With Liz)

Monday night was exciting. Our oven burst in a symphony of sparks and I was home all alone. We have a double oven from the 60s or 70s and the top portion doesn't even work. The bottom portion is all that we had and the heating coil snapped. The coil was still trying to make a connection, hence the sparks and little flame, so I quickly turned off the oven and hit the breaker. I didn't open the oven for quite some time because it scared the crap out of me.
